Clone Wars Season 7 Ep 8 "Together Again" Review
Episode 8 of this final season of Clone Wars was the conclusion of this current arc with Ahsoka but
it set up a lot of things for the final arc of the series. This episode saw Ahsoka tricking the Pike to
letting Trace and Rafa go while she was left behind. With the threat of revealing herself as a Jedi
gone, Ahsoka was able to enact a plan that saw to destroy the Pikes base while also create an
opportunity to escape. During this episode it was revealed that Maul was in control of the Pikes and
most of the criminal underground.
This revelation really connects this arc with the final where we will see the Siege of Mandalore and
Order 66 from Ahsoka's perspective. All of these connections really made this arc way better than
the Bad Batch arc which really didn't connect at all to the final arc of this series besides showing a
little bit of Anakin giving into his anger and emotions. Action wise, it was not as great as the
previous episode but overall I really enjoy this episode for the payoff with Ahsoka's character and
her coming to terms that although she isn't a Jedi anymore her ideals are still the same. This wasn't
the best episode of this arc but in terms of enjoyment I would give a 8.5 out of 10. I was wrong in
assuming that the Mandalorians would break Ahsoka out and should have just trusted in Ahsoka's
abilities because she really outsmarted the pikes. I'm excited for the final arc of this series, no doubt
the most epic battles are going to be happening in these final four episodes.
